The rehearsal studios facility gives groups the possibility of being assisted at different stages of their progress, notably for preparing their concerts, tours, recording and creative work.

These work spaces meet a constant demand from both amateur and professional music groups and artists from the local region, especially as there is still a great lack of suitable premises for creative residencies in the area.

The studios are open without any distinction of style or any judgement of artistic quality. Before the first residency, an advisory interview is conducted by the production manager in charge of planning schedules, in order to know more about the group, its artistic project and its expectations, and to thereby to be proactive, and to share experience and networks.

Since the end of 2012, thanks to the renovation work completed in the Friche la Belle de Mai centre, A.M.I. has 6 new fully equipped rehearsal studios, of floor areas varying between 40m2 and 97m2, with Wi-Fi.

These studios are available seven days a week, from 8:00am to midnight. Groups can use them at their own convenience.
Residencies can be repeated several times in the year according to the availability of the studios and the needs of the artistic project. The period of occupation varies between one and four weeks.
"Openbox" showcases may be organised at the end of residencies in association with the group.
